The normal routine for grooming a dog with matted fur is to spend up to 45 minutes brushing out the mats, before the shampoo and dry. Using D-Mat the treatment is as follows:

1. Shampoo the dog, without brushing first, and then rinse.

2. Apply D-Mat as a conditioner.

3. Massage D-Mat into the mats and then leave for 5-7 minutes.

4. Rinse and force-air dry.

On most occasions all the mats should disappear. D-Mat is puppy and kitten safe. Apart from a beautiful finish to the coat, the groomer can save considerable time.
